Wood Sculptures
Over the years my attention has been drawn to nature’s beauty and the replication that occurs in nature. I like to bring these observations through in my wood sculptures.
I try minimize how much I carve or shape the wood. I prefer to simply join interesting shapes I find. I try to keep down the number of pieces of wood I need to create these sculptures. I have noted the approximate size and number of pieces of wood for each sculpture. All measurements are in inches. These are made mainly from driftwood collected along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.
