Spider Web Art
My eye has always been captured by the morning dew on spider webs as
the sun illuminates the reflective droplets that form on each spoke of
the elaborate webs. I was never really satisfied with my attempts
to capture them on film so I tried several techniques to capture the
actual web to print and preserve their natural beauty by spray painting
the actual web and mounting it to a mat board. I also printed these
images on transparencies and applied them to my knotholes. This is the
result; I hope you enjoy them.
